Charles A. Watzke Jr. was born on Jan. 5, 1921 to Charles A. Watzke Sr. and Geraldine Dodge. Charles married Lois Audrey Guidry, daughter of John Elphege Guidry and Dorothy Olive Wise on April 10, 1942. Charles and Lois parented 5 daughters and 3 sons between 1943 and 1963.

My parents also had 2 other children that died at birth.
Charles Jr. lived in New Orleans, La. and worked as a projectionist and also ran a gas station business in the early 1960's. Charles and Lois moved to Bay St. Louis, Mississippi in 1971 where as they started a family grocery store. Lois Guidry preceded Charles to the grave on May 4, 1977. Lois was laid to rest in the Garden of Memorie Cemetery in Bay St. Louis. Charles closed the grocery around 1983 and moved to a differrent location in Bay St. Louis. Charles left this world to join Lois on March 9, 1996 and was laid to rest beside Lois in the Garden of Memorie Cemetery.
